The serious business of fun and games on the blockchain.

About us

Dapper Labs, the company behind CryptoKitties, NBA Top Shot, NFL All Day, UFC Strike and the Flow blockchain, uses blockchain technology to bring NFTs and new forms of digital engagement to fans around the world, paving the way to a more open and inclusive digital world starting with games and entertainment. Since it was founded in 2018, Dapper Labs has given consumer enthusiasts a real stake in the game by bringing them closer to the brands they love, building engaged and exciting communities for them to contribute to, and producing new pathways for them to become creators themselves. Dapper Labs' current studio partners include the NBA, NBPA, WNBA, WNBPA, LaLiga, NFL, NFLPA, Warner Music Group, Ubisoft, Genies, and UFC. We have raised over $600M from leading and notable investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Union Square Ventures, Venrock, Google Ventures (GV), Samsung, and the founders of Dreamworks, Reddit, Coinbase, Zynga, and AngelList, among others. Dapper Labs is accelerating the move to Web3 by building new apps and platforms that enable great user experiences while being accessible to hundreds of millions of fans of organizations like the NBA and NFL, for example. We’re ready to empower even more to bring mainstream-ready user experiences and scale to web3 applications.

  • For Jane Molodetskaya, great products should feel simple — even when what’s behind them isn’t. As a Senior Software Engineer at Dapper Labs, her work centers on unifying experiences and creating cohesion throughout the Dapper ecosystem. “I focus on the frontend — making the UI faster (or feel faster), simpler, and more consistent across our IPs,” she says. “I also often set the technical roadmap for features and make independent calls when requirements are open-ended.” Jane’s approach to engineering blends speed with care. Her mantra? “Move fast when it helps, slow down when depth matters, and keep quality high by making informed trade-offs with the right people,” she shares. “Learn openly when something doesn’t land, but most of all, always bring everything you have.” To Jane, what makes Dapper special is its purpose — harnessing blockchain technology to reimagine how people connect and play in ways that feel simple, human, and fun. “I love the uniqueness of what we’re creating here. We’re bridging real-world collectibles and NFTs, giving collectors a level of utility you just can’t get with physical cards. I’m excited to push digital collectibles even further and bring more people into the openness of Web3.” Ready to build what’s next? Join us → dapperlabs.com/careers #LifeAtDapperLabs

  • We’ve been alerted to a phishing scam impersonating our hiring team. Scammers are inviting candidates to join a fake “interview prep” or “pre-recorded meeting” via a counterfeit platform. Once opened, the site asks users to enable their camera with a script, which installs malware on their device. Please note: ▪️ We never ask candidates to pre-record meetings or video introductions. ▪️ All communication will always come from an official [at] dapperlabs [dotcom] e-mail address. ▪️ If something feels off, don’t click any links — contact us directly to confirm. Your safety and trust are important to us. Please stay alert and verify before you share any information.

  • Behind every pack drop, marketplace, and fan challenge is a design decision — one that makes sophisticated products feel effortless. Among the designers bringing those experiences to life? Meet Senior Product Designer Lans Lister 👋 Lans works on both NBA Top Shot and NFL ALL DAY, shaping each product through thoughtful UI/UX design. “From launching new features and iterating on existing flows to developing entirely new user journeys, my goal is to design solutions that feel intuitive and delightful.” His approach reflects Dapper’s collaborative spirit, where designers work side by side with teammates across disciplines to bring ideas from concept to reality. “We’re embedded cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and more,” he says. “The design team is deep in the product architecture, thinking about flows, systems, and edge cases, and solving real, complex problems every day.” As for what makes designing at Dapper Labs so special? “For me, it’s the blend of creativity, shared ownership, and the opportunity to help define new interaction patterns in the Web3 and digital collectible space. There’s no real playbook for a lot of what we’re building. And that’s what makes it exciting.” Think you’re up for the challenge? • Meet Loïc Lesavre, a Senior Backend and Smart Contract Engineer at Dapper Labs. As a founding team member of Disney Pinnacle and one of the main contributors to NBA Top Shot and NFL ALL DAY, his work has not only given users new digital experiences, but also given builders new ways to create. "I love the openness of what we’re building,” Loïc says. “Collectibles, metadata, pack drops, marketplace listings, offers, locking challenges — they're all on-chain, which means third-party builders have a lot to play with. You’re not just building for users; you’re creating in a space where others can extend or remix your work.” On a typical day, Loïc splits his time between backend engineering in Go and smart contract engineering in Cadence and Solidity. “It’s anything from building services and APIs, to orchestrating processes with Temporal, to conducting internal event pipeline migrations for performance improvements, to designing the on-chain assets, systems, and rules.” For Loïc, great engineering isn’t just about code — it's about collaboration, both with colleagues and, increasingly, with AI tools. "I learn constantly from my teammates’ creativity, expertise, and willingness to tackle hard problems,” he shares. “I also experiment with AI in a few different ways: sometimes as an assistant—helping plan, reason, or generate code—and other times as a collaborator that can connect to various tools, take a documented plan, and iterate on implementation, testing, and taking a step back to review.” At the end of the day, what drives Loïc’s approach to building is the same thing he believes makes a great teammate at Dapper Labs. "Focus on the end-user, take ownership, be proactive, and above all, be a great teammate. Collaboration is core to how we work, and showing you thrive in that environment makes a huge difference. We don't expect perfection, just people who want to learn, grow together, and drive impact." 👉 Join Loïc and the team shaping the next chapter of Web3: dapperlabs.com/careers
