ICYMI: Yesterday, felony voting rights were restored in Nebraska to those who have completed their sentences. Common Cause Nebraska is calling on the Secretary of State to "extend the deadline for voter registrations one additional week in order to allow the 7,000 Nebraskans in question to register."

As early voting has started for NC I want to come on and remind everyone how important it is to excersize your right to vote! During the past few weeks I’ve had the pleasure of working with Common Cause in Charlotte Meklenburg County going door to door and phone banking to make sure North Carolinians are registered to vote, educated on their candidates, and encouraging to vote the whole ballot! #govote Celine Ganyo

Why isn't election night results night? Once all the votes are in, the counting begins in many states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. “We will not have a winner on election night most likely and so we need to be able to prepare the public for this,” says Common Cause's President & CEO Virginia Kase Solomón.
