Recently, the Child Nutrition Fund (CNF) convened its 2025 Annual Partners Meeting – a chance to reflect on shared progress and chart the path forward in ending child and maternal undernutrition. Since its launch, the CNF has secured US$859 million toward its US$2 billion goal, enabling programmes that are now reaching millions of women and children across high-need countries. The meeting highlighted recent results, strong financial momentum, and the CNF’s strategic priorities for 2026–2030: deepening multi-year partnerships, expanding access to vital nutrition commodities, and strengthening local production of life-saving supplies. Every contribution to the CNF helps countries deliver lasting results for women and children everywhere. A sincere thank you to all our partners for their continued leadership and collaboration – together, we’re building sustainable nutrition systems and healthier futures for every child.

The CNF has updated its country eligibility to stay focused where the need is greatest. The update, endorsed by the CNF Steering Committee, strengthens how the CNF identifies and supports priority contexts, combining global nutrition data, operational insights, and partner feedback to ensure a fair and transparent process. Today, 63 countries from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America are eligible to receive CNF support, helping governments and partners scale up essential nutrition services, strengthen national systems, and reach the children and women most at risk of undernutrition. 🔗 Explore where we work: https://lnkd.in/exNFX6x9 UNICEF, Gates Foundation, Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office

We are delighted to see UNIMMAP MMS featured in TIME’s 2025 Best Inventions list! UNIMMAP MMS — the United Nations International Multiple Micronutrient Antenatal Preparation formula of Multiple Micronutrient Supplements — may be a long and technical name, but the way it works is very simple. It is a nutritional supplement for pregnant women which supports healthier pregnancies and safer births by reducing the risk of stillbirths and preterm births, especially in low- and middle-income countries. This recognition by TIME is a shared achievement for Kirk Humanitarian, UNICEF, the World Health Organization, the United Nations University, government leaders, partners, researchers, donors and advocates, which highlights the importance of investing in health interventions for women and their future children. https://lnkd.in/eX-5mU8t

🌍 Undernutrition is a solvable crisis – but only if we act together. At Global Citizen NOW: Impact Sessions in New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, leaders gathered for the panel ‘From Investment to Impact: Tackling the Nutrition Crisis for Children and Women.’ The discussion, moderated by Jessica Malaty Rivera, MS, featured Baroness Chapman (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office), Omar Abdi (UNICEF), Dr Gloria J. Balboa (Philippines Ministry of Health), and Anna Hakobyan (Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), highlighting how the Child Nutrition Fund and its historic Match Challenge of up to US$500 million are helping to double resources, save lives and strengthen systems. The goal is clear: to unite governments, donors and partners behind proven solutions so every child and mother can access the nutrition they need. #GlobalCitizenNOW #UNGA2025 | Stronger Foundations for Nutrition | UNICEF USA
