Chai Chai Love reposted this
This past weekend, Chai Chai Love —my handcrafted mushroom masala chai company—was part of the Southwest Chocolate & Coffee Fest, the world’s largest festival for chocolate, coffee, and gourmet foods. It was our first major event, and we shared more than 2,500 samples with thousands of curious, open-hearted attendees. What struck me most wasn’t the volume—it was the connection. Again and again, I watched people take their first sip and light up in surprise: “This is the best chai I’ve ever had.” “This actually tastes good—unlike other mushroom drinks I’ve tried.” These reactions reminded me why I started this in the first place. It turned out to be our biggest sales weekend ever—not because of flashy marketing or big budgets, but because the product truly connected with people. After 25 years in nonprofit work, building something with heart and intention has always been my path. Chai Chai Love isn’t just a product—it’s a daily ritual, a moment to slow down, breathe, and feel grounded. In a world that often prioritizes speed, scale, and shortcuts, we’re choosing presence, purpose, and people. There’s still a long road ahead. I’m growing a small company with big heart, and I know it won’t always be easy. But this weekend felt like a turning point. It reminded me that something real is taking shape. I’m sharing this not as a pitch, but as a pause—to acknowledge the journey, and the community that makes it possible. If this resonates with you, whether you’re a fellow entrepreneur, a values-driven leader, or just someone walking a parallel path—I’d love to connect. We’re all better when we build together. With gratitude, Gurumustuk Khalsa Founder, Chai Chai Love
