We're pleased to have partnered with Conscious Coliving on their latest report, 'Why Co-living?' The report underscores how co-living can help address the UK's housing crisis, support urban regeneration, and foster community all while delivering strong ESG outcomes. Did you know that there are just 11,000 operational beds available, with the majority concentrated in London? Kirsten Dyer, Senior Director, commented, "This data highlights a clear supply-demand imbalance in the need for co-living. While the demand pool is accelerating, particularly among 18–45-year-olds in urban areas, supply has not kept pace, resulting in high pre-let rates and missed regeneration opportunities in regional cities where co-living can be used to provide much needed housing and choice for renters." Jonathan Allen, Director, Land and Development, commented, “Co-living is a professionally managed, high-quality housing solution tailored for single renters. We’re seeing year-on-year growing interest from developers and investors who view it as a compelling opportunity - and a meaningful part of the solution to the UK housing crisis. Crucially, long-term operator commitment to both buildings and communities is key to unlocking delivery and building trust with local authorities. In addition to the above, addressing affordable housing requirements needs careful thought regarding tenure and onsite provision versus payment in lieu.” Read the full report: https://cbre.co/4lI4FEy #Coliving

This year, as part of our South Asian Heritage Month celebrations, we are proud to launch our first-ever REACH Portrait Series—an initiative that honours the rich cultural identities of our colleagues with roots across South Asia. From the vibrant textiles of Bangladesh to the diverse faiths and subcultures of Pakistan, and the underrepresented stories of North Indian Christian communities, this series is a celebration of heritage in its many forms. Each portrait is more than an image—it is a personal narrative, shaped by tradition, identity, and pride. Participants were invited to express their heritage through clothing, food, symbols, and stories that reflect who they are and where they come from. This project was born from a strategic commitment to elevate underrepresented voices within our business. We recognised the need to spotlight South Asian groups that are often underrepresented yet deeply woven into the fabric of our organisation. We hope these portraits inspire conversation, connection, and a deeper appreciation for the diversity that strengthens our workplace. Thank you to everyone who took part and shared their story.
