🌎 The key stop on the way to COP30 is the C40 World Mayors Summit, as part of the Local Leaders Forum hosted by Bloomberg Philanthropies and COP30 Presidency. Mayors, governors, and local leaders will meet in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between 3-5 November, to align on climate action, finance, and just transition, ensuring cities are at the centre of the global agenda. Latin America is proving that walking and cycling can do much more than move people. By promoting climate-friendly modes of transport, cities in the region are tackling inequality, creating good green jobs and improving health.
