The only credible and independent investigation into Builder.ai’s financial and governance matters was commissioned by the company’s Board and conducted under legal privilege by a top-tier law firm with expertise in forensic reviews and regulatory compliance. This investigation was comprehensive in scope and rigorous in execution. It was granted unrestricted access to internal systems (ERP, CRM, Financial Systems, archived communications), invoice-level financial data, supporting documentation, and interviews with key personnel. It followed a structured methodology aligned with regulatory, legal, and forensic standards, and was initiated with the explicit purpose of ensuring full compliance with judicial and enforcement processes across relevant jurisdictions. To the best of current understanding, the findings of this investigation are currently undergoing review by appropriate authorities. In contrast, a separate report now circulating was commissioned privately by individual(s), NOT the company, and was produced by a firm that had no access to company systems, records, or personnel. By any objective standard, its conclusions are speculative, unverified, and lacking in independence—a fundamental requirement for any credible forensic or legal assessment. Many of them were large, sophisticated enterprises—companies with the resources, experience, and technical capability to know when software works and when it doesn’t. They validated the product through their continued adoption and partnership. Even post-bankruptcy, independent technical reviews have confirmed that the system was real, scalable, and effective. 👉 Independent assessments and real IP back this.
