About us
Our mission: to lead community-grounded initiatives to make justice a lived experience for Black, Brown, and Indigenous people in Oregon. Brown Hope was founded in 2018 to advance trauma informed activism, creating platforms for Black, Brown, and Indigenous people to build community, power, and heal from the impacts of racism. Brown Hope’s current programs include the Black Resilience Fund, Equity & Beyond, Blackstreet Bakery, and Power Hour.
