  • This past Thursday, the BSJ Board of Directors hosted a Board Social at Piggy’s Restaurant in La Crosse. The theme for this year's banquet was "Foundations for the Future."🌟 We were joined by healthcare professionals, current and former board members, Advisory Boards, Iverson Freking Ecumenical Award recipients, community representatives, and many friends and partners of Bethany St. Joseph Corporation. The evening included a social hour and buffet, followed by a short program featuring an opening blessing from BSJ board member Sr. Dawn Kutt, introductions from the BSJ Board President Erick Maki, and remarks from Kim Gochanour, CEO of BSJ Corp. Guests also enjoyed a heartfelt video highlighting tenants and residents sharing what they love most about their communities, and the night wrapped up with drawings for five beautiful raffle baskets. A big thank you to all the staff and community partners who joined us, it was a wonderful evening of connection, appreciation, and celebration! 💙

  • Yesterday, BSJ was proud to take part in the Higher Standards Community Cleanup event in La Crosse! 🌎✨ This event unites neighbors, businesses, and volunteers to give back to downtown through litter pick-up, light beautification, and refreshing our alleys and riverfront. We’re proud to be part of such an amazing community that values giving back and caring for our environment. Thank you to all of our staff who participated and the other community members, groups, and volunteers involved. #CommunityCleanup #Sustainability #EnvironmentalStewardship #CleanAndGreen

  • Throwing it back to last year’s Board Social! ✨ A meaningful evening spent with our staff, alumni, board members, community partners, and those who have supported Bethany St. Joseph Corporation’s growth throughout the years. We’re excited to do it all again on Thursday, October 9th - here’s to another night of connection and celebration!

This month was our BSJ corporation Board Alumni Social at Piggy's Restaurant in La Crosse. We spent the evening with those who have seen us grow and guided us in our important caregiving mission which included current and past board members, Iverson Freking Ecumenical Award recipients, healthcare professionals, community representatives from La Crosse, West Salem, Holmen, Onalaska, Westby, and Galesville along with other friends who have helped us along the way by inspiring life, hope, and healing! The evening also featured exciting door prizes, and we were thrilled to celebrate the winners: Judy, Sr. Mary Ann, Sr. Rochelle, Rev. Ted, and Dennis! 🎁 Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating our journey and commitment to the community.

  • Happy Assisted Living Week!💖 All week long, we’ve been celebrating what makes BSJ Assisted Living so special. Yesterday, we recognized our incredible maintenance team, who led a Ring Toss activity across our Assisted Living communities (missing from the photo but part of the maintenance team: Dean and Travis). 🛠️ Tenants enjoyed activities like this throughout the week, while our Assisted Living staff embraced the celebration in their new shirts. Caregiving is truly a work of heart, and we are so grateful for our dedicated team members who make our assisted living programs possible and bring comfort, care, and joy to our communities each and everyday. Thank you for all that you do! 💕

  • Tenant's at Mill St. Manor and Salem Terrace enjoyed a meaningful day of giving back to their community last week - making cards, baking cookies, and delivering them to the West Salem Police Department. 💙🚓🍪 Chief Scott Alo and Deputy Chief Timothy O’Neil were so welcoming and kind! It was an honor to connect with and show our appreciation for local first responders who do so much for the community.

  • Last week, MERIT North and South Adult Day Center participants enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Just A Horse Rescue and Sanctuary in Melrose, Wisconsin. 🐴 ✨ This special outing was made possible through a generous donation from former Bethany St. Joseph Corp. CEO, Craig Ubbelohde, who joined the adult day center participants and staff for the experience. They enjoyed lunch together and had the chance to meet, feed, and walk with the horses at the rescue - such a memorable opportunity. Thank you Just a Horse Rescue for having us and Thank you Craig for your generous donation!

  • Last week, Hy-Vee ran a promotion, through their community rose donation program, where for every single-stem rose purchased, a rose was donated to a local nursing home—and we were honored that Bethany St. Joseph Care Center was selected. Thank you to Hy-Vee in La Crosse and their floral department for your donation of 150 roses for our residents to enjoy! 🌹 #Thankyou #HyVee #CommunitySupport #SkilledNursingHome
