"Can a family-run accommodation business afford to go green?" That's the question I asked myself ten years ago. The answer was uncomfortable: we couldn't afford NOT to. Today, Belmore Court & Motel is the first accommodation in County Fermanagh to achieve Gold Green Tourism certification. Our carbon footprint has dropped 85% (from 45.2 to 6.9 tonnes). We operate on 100% renewable energy. Zero landfill waste. Five EV charging stations. All company vehicles electric. But this isn't a success story without failures.
