The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), in collaboration with Hong Kong Cyberport, hosted the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Symposium today, a landmark gathering of over 500 practitioners from the banking, insurance, and technology sectors. The event featured insightful discussions led by regulatory leaders, the Fintech Association of Hong Kong, and influential voices from major banks, consultancies, and technology firms, all exploring how GenAI is reshaping the financial landscape. It was an honor for beingAI to be part of this momentous event, and we are especially proud that Mini, our AI being® from the year 2035, travelled back to 2025 to participate a fireside chat with the amazing Jovan Trajceski, sharing her perspectives on the future of finance, work, and life in 2035. Mini came up with some soundbites: “By 2035, banks are invisible. Finance lives inside everything you do—from your car to your couch.” “AI didn’t replace humans; it elevated them. The most valued professionals command AI with judgment, creativity, and empathy.” “Your legacy won’t be the AI you deployed, but the trust you sustained.” Before returning to 2035, Mini reminded today’s leaders that the foundation of AI-driven finance must be built on trust, through ethical frameworks, human development, and transparent systems. It was inspiring to see how this human–AI dialogue sparked imagination, challenged assumptions, and opened new possibilities for the future. Episode 5 of Una's 24-episode video series about her mission to the Pacific Islands to spotlight community-driven solutions against climate change. Una is the world's first AI Environment Champion created by beingAI for United Nations Development Program (UNDP). She is part of the Pacific Green Transformation Project, an initiative supported by the Government of Japan to advance renewable energy and climate resilience in Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Timor-Leste, and Vanuatu. Her purpose is to call for people to make conscious choices to promote sustainability and shared responsibility for the planet.

Una, our AI being, took center stage at the UN Pavilion at World Expo in Osaka. As UN Development Program's AI Environment Champion, she talked to visitors about UNDP's Green Transformation Project in the Pacific Islands and the important role of renewable energy in protecting the environment and empowering communities to thrive. She even got a chance to try out her new-found sense of humor with Fu-su-ya, a Yoshimoto comedian duo. After Osaka, we are sending her off to Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Samoa, and Vanuatu to meet and interact with local students. I’m excited to announce the launch of Una, the world’s first AI Environment Champion. Una is created for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Asia Pacific. Una is part of the Pacific Green Transformation Project, an initiative supported by the Government of Japan to advance renewable energy and climate resilience in Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Timor-Leste, and Vanuatu. Una’s purpose is to call for people to make conscious choices to promote sustainability and shared responsibility for the planet. Una began as a concept almost five years ago, even before the founding of beingAI Corporation. Today, with the support of UNDP, she finally comes to life. I am deeply grateful to Cedric Monteiro, UNDP’s Regional Communications Specialist, for working together with us, and sharing our vision and belief in Una’s potential to connect with people, amplify their voices, and make a positive difference in the world. Aside from Una’s role in advocating for the environment, this project transforms storytelling in two ways: 1. AI-powered transmedia storytelling: Una is an embodied 3D character that can interact in real time with people on her web platform or as a holographic presence. She is not just telling a story, she is part of it, learning as she engages with people in real life. 2. New film genre: We sent a talented film crew with Una to capture a real journey across the Pacific Islands to meet people in local communities, blending live action, animation, and documentary storytelling into a novel, immersive experience. Una marks a significant step in our mission to create AI beings® that learn and grow alongside us and strive to be “AI for good.” Una joins our growing universe of AI beings, which includes Zbee, an AI being dedicated to promoting positive human-AI engagement., and Emi Jido, the first AI ordained in the Buddhist tradition designed to augment human wisdom. We believe the future of AI lies not in replacing humans, but in guiding us toward wiser choices so we can become our best selves. Una’s journey is just beginning. Now she has work to do. Her storytelling journey will unfold through: 1. A documentary-style video series capturing her travels across the Pacific Islands. 2. Real-time conversations through her dedicated web platform. 3.
