I am so excited and honored to share that I am on the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 list under the Education section. Quyana, Thank you Forbes for this incredible honor. As a young girl, I never saw myself in what was being taught to me and while taking my engineering and mathematics classes throughout middle school and highschool, I was the only Indigenous girl in the classroom. I work to change this reality and I truly believe that when STEM and conservation spaces reflect what we see on the land, where our biodiversity and land is stewarded and protected by Indigenous peoples, our world becomes a better place. I am incredibly thankful for community and the work done with LilNativeGirlinSTEM. I am incredibly thankful to those who have also paved the way like Alliyah L. a Forbes 30u30 alum. I owe this all to community and to my community back at home. None of this would have been possible without the mentors, community members, aunties and my parents who were one of the first to tell me I can do anything, people who have always believed in my dreams. Quyana, Thank you.
