Since 2013, ClinicSense has been helping health and wellness businesses feel organized, confident, and in control with software that saves time and supports better client care. As AI started gaining buzz, we didn’t want to build something just for the sake of saying we had AI. We wanted to use it in a way that was genuinely useful and would make a real difference in our customers’ day-to-day work. That’s why we partnered with Amii (Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute), a trusted leader in artificial intelligence. Their unmatched expertise in machine learning gave us the confidence that our work would truly enhance the ClinicSense experience. Together, we built an ML model that helps practitioners spend less time on paperwork and more time with clients by transforming voice recordings into accurate, ready-to-edit treatment notes. Early testing shows a 90% reduction in the time it takes to complete a note, and we’re aiming to make this available to all customers in early 2026. Along the way, we learned that building an “AI feature” is something any skilled developer can do quite easily. But there’s a big difference between quick, surface-level AI and the thoughtful design behind a robust machine learning model.
