Today is International Credit Union Day! Our employees are celebrating in style, showing off their Little Man Under the Umbrella t-shirts! This special day honors the impact credit unions have and the difference we make in our communities every day. This year’s theme, “Cooperation for a Prosperous World,” highlights how credit unions stay connected across time zones and oceans, always united in our mission to support members and keep help within reach. Who is the Little Man Under the Umbrella? The Little Man is a symbol of the credit union movement, created in the late 1920s. He represents the common people that credit unions serve, while the umbrella symbolizes the credit union itself, providing shelter and protection from life’s challenges. That's a wrap! Altra employees had a fantastic time taking over the CMN Radiothon at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at Gundersen Health System this morning! Together, we helped raise $2,165 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. A huge thank-you to everyone who called, donated, and supported this amazing cause.
