Fond memories of former Stanford students Tanay Kothari and Sahaj Garg and amazed by their journey in leading Wispr Flow to create a new era of high-quality voice-native computing. AIX Ventures backed them at seed; today they raised $25M more in Series A funding to build their voice-first foundation models. We just raised another $25M after 10x'ing our ARR in 5 months. The crazy part is this almost never happened. 17 years ago, I watched Iron Man as a 10-year-old kid in Delhi. That night, I pulled my first all-nighter teaching myself to code. Not because I wanted to build apps or make money. Because I wanted to build Jarvis. My parents gave me 1 hour of screen time per day. So I coded in secret, sleeping every alternate night through middle school and high school. Built 50+ apps. Got a cease and desist from Google at age 12. All for this one obsession: making computers understand us like humans do. Fast forward to today: - We've raised $81M total to build the voice operating system - Growing revenue 40% month-over-month this year - 70% user retention after one year (unheard of in consumer) - Teams at 270 of the Fortune 500 use Wispr Flow daily Our Series A2 was led by Hans Tung at Notable Capital (who was an early investor in five companies that made it to $100B valuation like Slack, Tiktok, and Airbnb). Steven Bartlett also joined as an investor and partner. But here's what matters more than the money: We cracked voice input. Not transcription - actual understanding. Our users hit "send" in under 0.5 seconds without checking. They trust it blindly. That's never existed before. In a recent benchmark, Wispr came out as 3-4x more accurate than OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Siri. And we're just getting started. Voice input was step one. Now we're building the assistant that actually does things for you. To my co-founder Sahaj Garg - there's no one else I'd rather build Jarvis with than my college roommate and closest friend. To our team pulling all-nighters and shipping magic - you're the reason that 10-year-old kid's dream is becoming real. We're hiring cracked engineers and growth marketers who want to build the future of human-computer interaction. The keyboard had a good 150-year run. Time to build what comes next. PS: like, repost, and comment "Wispr" to get Wispr Flow for free for 3 months ❤️ — Written with Wispr Flow

Today we’re announcing $106M in new funding led by Altimeter Capital and Bezos Expeditions. This brings our total to $150M to scale our frontier AI models which make biology programmable. Our frontier models have generated functional proteins (Nature Biotech, 2023), created the first CRISPR system designed from scratch (Nature, 2025), and showed clear scaling behavior (NeurIPS spotlight, 2025). The opportunities ahead are unimaginable. If you’re excited by shaping the future of biology – join us in pushing the science forward. I'm thrilled to announce AIX Ventures' seed investment in Greenshoe, Inc., the first AI-native platform purpose-built to automate and elevate U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosures! The need for Greenshoe goes far beyond speeding up filings — it’s about restoring trust, accuracy, and agility in how companies communicate with the markets. Today’s disclosure process is fragmented across tools, teams, and templates, with every version, redline, and compliance cycle introducing new risk. In a market that moves in real time, the workflows behind these filings remain stuck in a manual, pre-AI world. Greenshoe changes this by treating disclosure as data, not documents. By integrating AI directly into the drafting, validation, and review process, filings become faster, more consistent, audit-ready, and far less error-prone — eliminating late-night scrambles, version-control chaos, and mismatched footnotes. We’re excited to partner with Payton McCoy, Dr. Yi Zhang, and the entire Greenshoe team as they modernize the very foundation of market transparency!

    Co-founder @ Greenshoe | Lawyer (ex-Kirkland and Skadden)

The SEC thinks it should be easier to be a public company. I agree. I’ve always believed that the capital markets are one of America’s greatest innovations, and transparency is the reason they work. But the process behind that transparency is difficult and expensive, mainly because the current software stack needs to be rebuilt for an AI future. I realized this when I reviewed my first 10-K and worked on my first IPO back in 2019 as an attorney at Skadden. If you’ve ever done this, then you know what I mean. This is why we built Greenshoe, an AI-native platform that helps companies prepare securities disclosures more easily than ever before. Today, we’re announcing two things: (i) the release of our new platform and (ii) additional funding that will enable us to provide top-notch customer service. We are actively onboarding new issuers onto the platform. Contact me directly or sign up on our website at greenshoe.ai and I will set up a custom demo for you. Additionally, we are hiring AI/ML and full-stack engineers in NYC. If you or anyone you know wants to be a part of our awesome team, you can apply here --> Greenshoe, Inc. Thank you! So many people to thank, including Yi Zhang, Forum Ventures, Kevin Corliss, Jason McBride, Antonio Key, Paul Swiencicki, Shashi Srikantan, Jared Brandman, Galen Mason, Alex Su, Robert Goedert, A.J. This feels like an insane moment. Reid Hoffman just named our startup as the future of human-computer interaction. The founder of LinkedIn just told the world he's "voicepilled" and we're one of the reasons why. I've been building voice products since I was 11. Had 2.5 million users before I could legally sign contracts. But this moment? This is different. Reid wrote: "If you use products like Wispr Flow or ChatGPT Voice, you know what I mean... once you start seriously using your voice to interact with technology, you unlock a new way to amplify your ability." He's right. But here's what even Reid doesn't know: We almost killed the product 3 times. Voice is HARD. Everyone thinks the problem is accuracy. It's not. It's trust. When Reid says "voice is iterative by default - you stumble, you rephrase, you interrupt yourself" - that's exactly what we had to solve. Other tools transcribe your stumbles. We translate them into what you meant. When most LLMs hallucinate 2% of the time, we dropped ours to be 1 in a million. Rebuilt our entire pipeline from scratch. Twice. Why? Because professionals won't use voice if they have to edit every message. Reid called this moment being "voicepilled" - that clarity when you realize voice changes everything. For me, that moment came at 11 watching Iron Man. Tony Stark talking to Jarvis. 14 years later, we're actually building it. Thanks for believing in the vision, Reid. The future is voice-first.

🚨 HOT OFF THE PRESS 🚨 we just released our Q2 2025 State of the Bots report — analyzing AI bot and agent activity across the TollBit publisher network which include some of the world's biggest publishers. This report reveals some shocking trends: - New AI visitors look human: The latest AI browsers and devtools — like Perplexity Comet, Firecrawl, and Browserless — appear as Chrome in site logs, solve CAPTCHAs, and mimic human behavior. This is going to cause problems for advertising integrity. - RAG access reduces broken links: We analyze HTTP 404 status codes to find which AI platforms send visitors to the most broken or hallucinated links. - AI bot activity surpasses Bingbot: For the first time, aggregate AI bot traffic across publisher sites has overtaken crawls from the world’s #2 search engine. - Human visitors are falling, AI rising: From Q1 to Q2, human visits declined 9.4% across sites on TollBit. Meanwhile, AI visitors grew sharply — rising from 1 in 200 to 1 in 50 total site visits. - And many more insights across 75 pages! 👉 Download the full report here: https://lnkd.in/e8UYNeca
