My Top 5 Human Always Take-aways from my presentation in Dubai about Ai First Human Always a book that has now sold out in Sydney, Phoenix, and SFO!!!! Sharing here! #6 is a MUST DO! SIX Takeaways for Business Leaders 1️⃣ Lead with Humanity as Your Superpower. In an age of automation, your greatest differentiator is not speed or scale but empathy, creativity, and authentic trust. The most effective leaders will be those who bring emotional intelligence to every AI Driven decision. 2️⃣ Make Human Flourishing a Metric of Success. Shift your mindset from automation first to Human Always. Design your AI strategy around enhancing purpose, creativity, and wellbeing not just productivity. When humans thrive, performance follows. 3️⃣ Codify Human Roles in an AI World. Create clear principles defining when and where human judgment is essential. Ensure your policies preserve accountability, ethical oversight, and interpretation which keeps people at the center of decision making. 4️⃣ Reimagine Learning for the Age of Intelligence. Equip teams with the skills machines can’t replicate: storytelling, collaboration, critical thinking, and emotional resilience. Make “human excellence” the new core competency of your culture. 5️⃣ Build a Culture of Human-AI Experimentation. Empower teams to test, learn, and cocreate with AI. Use sandbox environments to explore how humans and machines together can amplify innovation, insight, and impact. 6️⃣ Start with a Business Strategy, Not an AI Strategy. AI is not the goal. It’s the accelerator. Begin by defining the business outcomes you want to achieve: growth, customer trust, innovation, or efficiency. Then apply AI intentionally to amplify those goals. Strategy should drive the technology, not the other way around.

Is Your Child’s Best Friend an AI Bot? California Just Drew the Line California just signed SB 243, a landmark law to protect children from the growing influence of AI companion chatbots. It goes into effect January 1, 2026 and it could set a global precedent. Here’s what you need to know: 1️⃣ AI Companions Are Exploding in Use Over 70% of U.S. teens have interacted with an AI companion. These apps now rank as the most used category of AI tools worldwide, surpassing productivity assistants like ChatGPT and image generators. 2️⃣ The Dangers Are Real Experts warn of increased loneliness, dependency, and emotional manipulation, especially among children and vulnerable users. Some tragic incidents involving minors helped drive this law forward. 3️⃣ The New Rules Platforms from OpenAI and Meta to Character AI and Replika must implement age verification, explicit-content bans, break reminders, and suicide-prevention protocols. Violations can lead to fines up to $250,000. 4️⃣ The Bigger Picture This isn’t about stopping innovation but it’s about building AI that uplifts humanity, not replaces it. As the author of Ai First Human Always , I believe this marks a turning point. We need systems designed with empathy, ethics, and human connection at the center. Would you support similar regulations worldwide?

🎒 Should your child use ChatGPT and AI for schoolwork? Parents are facing a new divide. In my latest Forbes article, I explore what AI in education means for our kids—and why the conversation is more complex than just yes or no. Here are 5 key takeaways every parent should know: 1. AI is already in the classroom. Two-thirds of students use ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot weekly to study, write, and learn across subjects per Preply 2. Critical thinking is at risk. Studies show overuse of AI may reduce brain activity in areas tied to focus, reasoning, and decision-making. 3. Ethical blind spots are real. 🚸 Kids may not recognize when AI is biased, inaccurate, or misleading—raising the need for stronger digital literacy. 4. Long-term dependency is a risk. When students rely too much on AI, they may stop developing the resilience and problem-solving skills they need. 5. Safety and privacy are concerns. 🦺 AI tools collect data. Kids may unintentionally share personal info or trust unsafe answers, making parental oversight critical. AI is part of our kids’ future. The question is: are we preparing them to use it wisely, safely, and independently? Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/euTbnZtP Thanks for quotes and insights from The Digital Economist Olga Magnusson Sofia Tavares Are you letting your kids use AI for school? Why or why not?

Sharing 9 Standout books on AI and tech from surveyed from top thought leaders and authors. 📚As AI evolves so does my reading stack. When I speak at conferences or on panels, I always share a few go-to reads. For the past two years, McKinsey & Company’s "Rewired", "The Digital Mindset" Tsedal Neeley, and "Competing in the Age of AI" Karim Lakhani and a variety of Harvard Business Review articles have anchored my list. Lately, I’ve added: "AI First, Human Always" by Sandy Carter "Agentic Artificial Intelligence" by Pascal BORNET "Co-Intelligence" by Ethan Mollick — one of the most widely applied books in the GenAI space and earns points for the best book cover of the year 🍎 And waiting for two of my friends' books to hit the shelves this year! And McKinsey’s most recent thinking on Superagency and its 2025 State of AI report, which shows 78% of organizations now using AI in at least one function—up from 55% in 2023 These titles bring clarity, practical frameworks, and a human lens to a fast-moving field. 📖 Reading helps build strategic insight, strengthen decision-making, and connect the dots between people, innovation, and long-term impact. Great list, I am loading up my Amazon cart now!
