Possible | The future of care
Can technology help us fulfill our potential as caring beings, as well as rational, calculating beings?
Anne-Marie Slaughter is a scholar, public intellectual, and CEO of New America , a think tank that focuses on a wide range of public policy issues. She joins the podcast to talk about public interest technology, the care economy, and, ultimately, the ways technology can help make humans whole.
Aria Finger , Anne-Marie and I discuss caring for our elders, the childcare crisis, and speculate on what new era humanity is entering — and how AI and other technologies are contributing to that shift. Plus, Inflection AI 's Pi joins to offer information on the care economy.

1yGreat episode - we are moving from centralized to distributed models of care that are enabled by technology. If only policies and regulations could keep up, there's so much that could be done now. We no longer have technical problems, progress is just being held up by the way we've always done things.
Repairing Creation is more than just words. It is a movement improving the World for All life.

1yI love this perspective and couldn't agree more. If done right, technology can allow us the time and focus for the more important human authentic interactions and accelerate it. 💯
