I'm the author of twenty professionally published fiction and media tie-in novels, as well as a writer's name reference dictionary. Awards include the Bram Stoker Award, the Chicago Women in Publishing Award for Excellence in Adult Fiction, the Rocky Mountain News "Unreal Worlds" Award, and several Illinois Women in Publishing Mate E. Palmer Communications Contests Awards and National Federation of Press Women awards (both for novels and short fiction).
I've written in the categories of dark fantasy, horror, suspense, science fiction, romance and mystery. Media projects include novels for the movies Hellboy, Elektra, and Ultraviolet, as well as books in the Aliens and Species series and seven Buffy the Vampire Slayer novels.
