Restaurants of Bangkok or ROB has been established to provide a new marketing channel for Bangkok restaurants. Realizing the increased need for low-cost marketing tools for restaurants in a slow economy, ROB is building a social web community focused on helping restaurants grow their businesses by providing residents of Bangkok with the first Social Dining Directory in Thailand.
Other than being a comprehensive restaurant directory with more than 1,700 establishments listed, people will be able to use ROB when organizing parties and events, planning their dining out and getting substantial discounts at 100's of restaurants around town.
ROB's platform will be launched in December 2009.

In Thailand the group is looking at developing and operating 12 hotels in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui and a total of 15-20 hotels in Singapore, Jakarta, Bali, KL, Phnom Pehn, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for the first expansion phase.
