I've spent nearly 20 years working in the IT industry in Sales and Marketing dealing with high-level multi-million pound contracts and low-cost consumer products. I've successfully launched products in both niche and consumer markets, designed and implemented customer relationship management strategies and advised on traditional and new media promotional programs.
Since mid-2003 I've been with Isode Limited, a UK software house specializing in Directory (LDAP/X.500) and Messaging (X.400, XMPP, IMAP/POP/SMTP) server software. I head up both the Marketing and Sales Teams at Isode.
I was recently elected to the Board of the XMPP Standards Foundation (XSF), an independent, nonprofit standards development organization whose primary mission is to define open protocols for presence, instant messaging, and real-time communication and collaboration on top of the IETF's Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP).

Isode are a UK software company specializing in messaging and directory server software.
Selling mostly through partners who incorporate our products into their solutions, we've experienced rapid growth in the last few years due partly to our success in the Military (X.400 messaging), Aviation (X.400 messaging), Government and Intelligence (directories) and ISP (Internet messaging) marketplaces.
