Have over 20 years experience in optoelectronic industry. As a adept person, have extensive knowledge/experience on management, engineering, manufacturing, and sales/marketing.
In 2000, started the venture back ($10M) Axcel Photonics to make high performance semiconductor lasers. As founder, CTO, President, and CEO, build up the company from inception with extreme capital efficiency, developed the technology and products second to none. More important, managed investor’s expectation properly and built up great rapport from board members and investors. In 2005, the company sold to private investors and stayed on as President and CTO to run the business with average annual revenue growth rate of 30%. Have strong ability to deal with wide range of people at different levels of organizations. Demonstrated leadership, creativity in problem solving skills, and proficiency in technical work.
Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in from University of Delaware, Newark, DE, Master degree in Applied Physics from Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Northern Jiaotong University, Beijing, P. R. China.
