In 2004, I served as an expert panelist at the FTC Spyware Workshop. In 2003, I organized and chaired the New York Marketing Summit to open up dialog among industry players. The Summit helped industry leaders produce a nascent Code of Conduct.
Provided funding and assisted as a creative consultant for the award winning film, Nothing So Strange (2002). The film received the New York Times Claiborne Pell Award for Original Vision. It also was the first film embracing the open source format. Served as the Consulting Producer on the drama/humor film Williamsburg (2006), selected as Winner Best Noir at the New York International Film and Video Festival.
Recent experimental media work has been in 3-D metaverses. Projects include an exact replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. and Alternate Reality Game (ARG) development. Most recent project was Eldritch Errors, featured in Wired Magazine, an immersive horror series playing out in real time -- on the Internet and in the real world.
