The MTS replacement Project was set up to upgrade the transaction component of the National Bank New Zealand’s Internet Banking, Telephone Banking, Customer Front End systems from NT to Windows Server 2003.
The project was already underway when I took over, and was being pushed to get into production quickly. Unfortunately the project team had completed no documentation to date, and recently found that the solution that they were planning to use would incur sever performance degradation on the products.

When ANZ bought the National Bank from Lloyds, it was decided to keep a two brand strategy for better market penetration.
The Intranet Project was set up to bring the Intranet systems together keeping the branding autonomous, whilst also creating a unified identity that all members of the new organisation could belong to.
Responsible for Project Planning, reporting (to steering committee as well as business owners, business requirement definition, management of virtual team across New Zealand, Australia & India, issue & risk management.
• Created Unified Intranet for day to day operations (e.g. Staff notifications, Business Unit Information, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Purchasing & General Ledger)
• Integrated old intranets into the new unified intranet so that brand specific information stayed on the original intranets
• All common information & directories migrated to new unified intranet.
