Vinay Ganti’s Summary

Vinay attended Brown University and majored in International Relations. Vinay then worked in technology transfer as a Principal Investigator for Foresight Science and Technology, where he helped guide and advise early stage SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) grant awardees on how to best position and market their infant technologies.

Looking to expand his skill set he then moved to New York City to pursue the JD/MBA program here at NYU. While at NYU, Vinay was a summer intern in Washington, D.C. at Environmental Defense where he worked to better explain how innovation can help address the issue of climate change and curb global warming. Upon returning to New York, Vinay became an intern for the Clinton Global Initiative's (CGI) Climate and Energy Working Group where he helps facilitate the annual summit. This summer Vinay worked for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, one of the leading law firms in the representation of venture capital firms, startups, and technology companies.

In the fall of 2007, Vinay also became an InSITE fellow -- a two-year fellowship where he along with other business and law students work with and consult real startup companies in the New York City area on improving their business concepts to become amenable for venture capital funding.

Vinay is currently at Stern Business School pursuing his MBA.

Work in teams with business and law students from Columbia and New York Universities to provide analytical and critical advice to the startup companies.
