I manage the core development team on Value Search, the software driving HOLT, one of the top profit centers at Credit Suisse. I also manage the development of our vastly popular Endeca-driven "Dimension" application and our RESTFul Web Services initiative. I am also a hands on Java developer and architect.
Value Search is an equities valuation system, Swing and Web based.
We have created a facility whereby our business analysts can easily test and convert Excel models into XML using an Excel-esque modeling language.
Our compilation engine converts those models into Java code, where they are compiled and stored in the database.
Our custom class loaders then load that code from the database where they are leveraged by external and internal clients to produce charts, perform sensitivity analysis, and manage portfolios.
Strong core-java skills, specializing in Concurrent programming. Design patterns, Object Oriented programming, Development process, Agile, CVS, JUnit, Test Driven Development, Enterprise technologies including EJB, JMS, Struts, Database programming, Endeca Search Engine
