I enjoy using my skills in content management systems (CMS) and information architecture to help cost-effectively deliver the right information, to the right people at the right time. To that end I:
- configured, implemented and have maintained a Sibersafe CMS since CHC’s 2005 pilot project of migrating its key manuals to XML.
- used the CMS to author and maintain the Integrated Safety Management System (SMS) manuals for CHC Helicopters.
- launched CHC’s European division into the XML CMS by training and supporting their first superusers.
- created a content model for HeliOne, a division of CHC Helicopter Corporation
Trevor Paterson’s Specialties:
CHC's SMS manuals were the main document set that enabled CHC to be one of Canada’s first successful applicants for an Air Operator Certificate under Transport Canada’s new SMS regulations.
The SMS manuals are also the basis of CHC's ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 certifications.
