Director, National Security & Public Safety, The Conference Board of Canada
Ottawa, Canada Area
My focus has been on the bringing strategy and technology together to achieve organizational goals -- this has been for both public and private sector organizations.
In terms of strategy, the essence of my work has been to develop pragmatic, executable strategies that organizations can "knock out of the park". In terms of technology, my goal has been to ensure technology serves the strategy rather than the inverse. Technology is an extremely powerful tool -- but only if deployed and integrated properly.
I've applied my work in a range of industries including national security (my current focus), biotechnology & life sciences, telecommunications, broadcasting, gaming, agriculture, natural resources, public policy and others.
Strategy development, public policy, facilitation, public speaking, writing, research, financial modeling
