This project is known as the Central Asian TB Control Partnership. The donor is USAID and the project is run under a Cooperative Agreement. The project covers the five Central Asian Republics (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan). Project HOPE is the lead agency of a consortium of agencies. The other agencies directly working under the Cooperative Agreement are: John Snow Incorporated (Drug Management), John Hopkins University/Center for Communication Programs, and the New Jersey Medical School (Global Tuberculosis Institute). This is a five year project scheduled to conclude in April 2009.
