Tom Hedden’s Summary

For over twenty years I have been producing music and developing publishing catalogs. Much of that time was spent with NFL Films, "The Most Honored Filmmaker in Sports". I am humbled to count myself among the many talented people that helped garner that reputation and it was a pleasure to help shape the sound and brand of the National Football League. Now, I'm back out in the world, working independently as a composer and consultant and enjoying new creative challenges.

I have created hundreds of pieces of music in almost every style for documentaries, films, television programs, games and spots. I have also been involved with producing and performing live music in every size venue from coffee houses to symphony halls and even the field at The Super Bowl. Every time, I am guided by the same principle: things of quality will last. It would be unusual to watch an evening of television or go to a live sporting event and not hear my music. I feel that this is a direct result of that guiding principle.
