I am currently developing and executing the first Event Management System in the Experiential Marketing Industry based on the British Standard 8901. The goal is to reduce the environmental footprint of our internal operations and global and domestic campaigns. By education and awareness building of ignition staff we will engage our clients and partners to join us on this journey and take a leadership position in our industry
My professional experience at the Georgia Department of Natural Resources was in sustainable systems design for business, institutions and governments. This included environmental management systems design and implementation assistance, business sustainability strategies development and sustainable solutions facilitation. My primary work involved organizational evaluation and strategic team identification for design, implementation and evaluation of a sustainability program within an organization.
My professional experience at Georgia EMC was in the areas of environmental policy mainly in the energy sector at the local, state and federal levels and statewide economic development in Georgia. This included policy analysis, grass-roots lobbying, stakeholder education, strategic communications, market research, marketing collateral creation and economic and demographic analysis.
My professional goals include promoting long-term, performance driven, systems based sustainability programs within organizations. Helping clients identify the often untapped resources within their organization to build sustainable systems. Creating sustainability programs that yield measurable environmental results and lead organizations to consider the environment, economics and equity equally in everyday business decision-making.
My personal goals are to maintain a balance in life between career, family, faith and fun. To help reduce the impact of humanity on our planet and to create a healthier, happier and more just future for my children.
Strategic organizational design, group facilitation, sustainability, natural resource management, energy conservation, renewable energy, renewable fuels, water conservation, waste reduction and recycling, environmental management systems, sustainability communications, systems thinking, public administration.
