Tawnya Lancaster’s Summary
I'm a consultant who specializes in the convergence of online (including social) media and traditional marketing—public relations, advertising and other marketing communications. I work under the name The Lancaster Group (TLG), which I started in Silicon Valley after having worked at larger PR and marketing firms and in publishing as a writer and editor for more than a decade.
I do consulting in public relations and marketing and offer services in publicity, writing and design. I also work with PRx Strategic Communications, a strong team of thoughtful, dedicated people who are very successful in telling the stories of their clients. Brenna Bolger and Steve Mangold of PRx have been in Silicon Valley since "before computer time" (hee, hee) and they know A LOT of people. If you want to network in the Valley, they're the ones to talk to.
The companies we work with have a clear idea of what they would like to accomplish with their PR and marketing and are willing to commit to a longterm program to achieve their goals. Most of our clients stay with us for three years or more.
We have experience in several different industries. Our core competency is in financial services, the nonprofit sector, entertainment and real estate. But really, if you know anything about PR, you know that a good PR person can get you a story, no matter what market you're in.
We've also worked with clients in high tech, medical/biotech, hospitality and retail.
