Holder of an Executive master's degree in Business administration and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Sylvain has several years of manegerial expertise with substantial Industrial Engineering experience in Aerospace industries (Bombardier Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney Canada) as well as from working with woldwide consultants such as McKinsey, Gemba Research, Mercer, Highland group, Shingijutsu and Promaintech Novaxa.
My career path has also allowed me to develop expertise in training, facilitation, coaching and councelling.
Today, Sylvain is an entrepreneur at Soucy Baron also engaged at different other enterprises in councelling services from strategies setting to effective and tangible enterprise efficiency improvements.
From organisational diagnostics upto buttom line results, using governmental financial incentives, r&d and technical projects portfolio, project management principles, and an extensive use of lean principles and six sigma as well as field expertise. All this performed by taking care of embedding the new principles into a coherent system designed to foster an inspired culture and management support towards the new vision and mission, aiming at THE GOAL of the enterprise.

design and manufacturing of elastomer (rubber, silicon, plastic, ...) molded componants (injection, compression, transfer moulding) for recreational products (snowmobile, ATV, watercraft), military applications (gas mask and several other products) as well as various industrial applications.
