Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund - the people who built The Wall - is engaged in a $115 million captial campaign to build the Education Center at The Wall, a dynamic, technologically innovative visitor and learning center. Designed as a Silver/Gold LEED building, it pairs an environmentally progressive design with a future-forward technical infrastructure that will support growth and changes in the Center’s content and impact over time, making it always relevant to current and future generations.

As Director of Major Gifts, I cultivate, solicit and close six, seven and eight-figure gifts. As well, I work with the entire team on donor recognition, events, donor database management and a host of other development and fundraising needs.

    This annual award is given to a person whose substantial life work best exemplifies Jan Karski's valor and compassion, including selflessness, a profound sense of humanity, extraordinary courage and willingness to accept a burden, pain and suffering to save or help others. Jan Karski was a Polish diplomat and resistance fighters who warned world leaders, including Franklin Roosevelt, about the Nazi extermination of the Jews. Susan Pollack was awarded this honor in 2002 for her direct involvement in saving nearly 18,000 Jews in Ethiopia during the height of the civil war, famine, drought and Marxist military repressive government.
