Susan Marks’s Summary

I write, produce and direct for media production. I have my own company, Lazy Susan Productions and work freelance.
On a day to day basis, I work as a coordinator and project manager, and I love it.

The project I'm most excited about is an indie documentary film I'm directing, OF DOLLS AND MURDER, about dollhouse murders, our collective fascination with death.

I'm excited beyond belief to announce that legendary filmmaker, John Waters is the narrator for my film! My film should be done this year.

When I'm not working on my film, I'm usually happily producing, writing, or directing for someone else's project.

I also find time to teach documentary storytelling and writing classes.

A few years back, I made the documentary THE BETTY MYSTIQUE.

And finally, I'm the author of three books: FINDING BETTY CROCKER (Simon & Schuster 2005) STUCK ON YOU (Collectors Press 2008) and HISTORIC PHOTOS OF MINNESOTA (Turner Publishing 2009).
