Steven Poitras’s Summary
I am currently a Analyst at Accenture Technology Labs (R&D wing of Accenture). There I am working on some projects around Cloud Computing and iPhone Mobility. On the cloud front I've worked extensively with Amazon's APIs, creating both architectures and design methodologies for EC2, S3, EBS, and RightScale. I've also worked extensively with the iPhone SDK working to develop enterprise iPhone application in Objective C.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration - Information Systems and Finance. There I was the President of the university's Business Information Technology Society (BITS) where I helped organize events with companies, held technology workshops, and worked to build a virtual lab environment for our members. I have a strong background in Systems Engineering and Systems Administration as well as keen business sense. I am currently pursuing my MCSE certification and will then pursue my CCNP. I have a home lab set up where I get hands on experience with the latest technologies and have had enterprise experience working for Accenture and Avanade.
My goal is to become the CIO of a fortune 500 company.
