During his lifetime, Stephen Fiverson has always been dedicated to the pursuit of higher education. He attended two different colleges, both at which he greatly excelled. Fiverson first attended Pennsylvania State University where he majored in political science and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1965. At Penn State, Fiverson was involved in many clubs and organizations. For example, he was the advertising manager at the Daily Collegian and was also a member of the Daily Newspaper. He was the president of AEPi and a member of the local Hillel. After graduating from PSU, Stephen went on to attend school at Rutgers School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. There, he studied legal studies and later graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1968.
After completing his studies, Stephen Fiverson became the chief executive officer of Colt Corporation. Colt is a corporate entity that includes subsidiary companies involved in packaging, storage, warehousing, equipment leasing, logistics, and distribution. He began working there in 1972 and stayed until 2001.
In addition to having dedicated himself to his education and profession, Fiverson has also been involved with numerous charities and organizations, including United Jewish Appeal, Prostate Cancer Foundation, Temple Bnai Abraham, Mass. General Hospital, Israel Bonds, Community Chest, Museum of Jewish Heritage, Palm Healthcare Foundation, Albert Einstein College of Medicine ["Founder"], Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, National Association of Chemical Distributors, Board Member, Northeast Chemical Distributors Council President, Independent Liquid Terminals Association, South Kearny Industrial Association, board member and founder, Young Presidents Organization.
In his spare time, Fiverson likes to golf and travel. He is also an avid antique enthusiast.
