Front end web designer with 11 years experience building XHTML and CSS for small to blue chip companies. I have 9 years experience working to W3C and WAI guidelines and I have a good number of WAI/W3C web sites in my portfolio.
The freelance sites I create have bounce rates between 10-20% and conversions between 1.5 to 1.8%. I have run PPC campaigns for 5 years and I have a good conversion rate. I use Google analytics, heat maps and extensive usability knowledge to create sites which allow me to control the user along a journey path of my choosing.

I was the designer in charge of all accessibility issues relating to web development for the European Commission funded web sites. I was developing web sites for multi million Euro projects funded under the FP6 programme. I also worked closely with the database designer to build templates for his databases.
Another part of the role in the company was to be the face behind them. This involved travelling around Europe giving presentations to the project members on the work we have carried out. The people at these meetings are often the World leading experts in their fields.
