Entrepreneurial-minded IT executive with 20-year career leading software planning, development, and sales efforts for both emerging startups and established corporations such as Merrill Lynch, Merant, and Bossard. British citizen and Singapore permanent resident who has lived and worked in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, France, the U.K., and the United States. Good language skills in Thai and French, with strong understanding of multiple Asian cultures.
Most recently I overhauled development practices at Bossard dramatically improving system performance, reliability, and usability. I built a clear picture of how Bossard tools were applied to solve business issues across Asia Pacific. I increased the efficiency of development as well as reduced risk by instigating software management processes previously overlooked.
I have a strong track record in starting software businesses: I formed HeadsUp in 2001 and HeadWest in 2006 to focus on IT change planning. With over eight years specialisation in management of change-related projects I aimed to change the way that software is developed, bringing greater accountability to software projects.
I held a corporate sales position and exceeded targets for Serena Software in Singapore selling corporate change management solutions. Prior to Serena, I was responsible for change control for Year 2000 at Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong, managing a significant number of applications across Asia.
In the early 90's I was a Director at NetSiam and ViewSiam in Thailand - we developed advanced solutions for networking, GIS and application integration.
My current goals are to turn Morgan Legend into a leading supplier to companies focused on value creation through an integrated approach to managing strategy, human capital and business performance management.
