Deployment - Our Team's objectives for the Alaska Backbone training program were to implement effective training methods that motivated employees to learn, enable users to apply and practice what they were taught, and help users retain and transfer what they learned and integrate it into their work performance. With nearly 4,000 users and a ratio of hundreds of users to a single trainer, our C&T Team not only executed the program as intended, but is being looked at as a model for the Global Training program for future implementations.
A few of the outstanding accomplishments included:
• Development of training materials, including awareness, process and system training tailored to the key roles in the organization
• The design and implementation of training processes and procedures• Delivery of fit-for-purpose, cross-functional training solutions for the Alaska organization, reducing training hours by over 10 man years
• Managing multiple inquiries from the organization, sometimes challenging, in a polite and professional manner, ensuring that the solution delivered would meet the needs of the organization
