I am a writer, storyteller, and theologian. I empower women who have been silenced and suppressed by a religious tradition. I believe the best way to do this is to tell the stories of the women in the Bible through writing and speaking.
I am also an associate editor with The Christian Godde Project: Exploring the Divine Feminine Within the Christian Godde. The Christian Godde Project is translating the New Testament using Divinine Feminine images for Godde.
I have been an assistant editor for the daily devotional, Reflecting God: Devotions for Holy Living, and for the adult Sunday School Curriculum line, Faith Connections. I have written for Christian publications and websites and spoken at local churches.
My pastoral experience includes assistant pastor for college/young adult ministry, associate pastor of adults, senior pastor, and cross cultural ministry.
I also write short stories and poems. I am currently working on my first book proposal, Career Women of the Bible. I have a B. A. in Religion and an M. A. in Theological Studies. My unpublished thesis is Your Daughters Shall Prophesy: A Biblical Theology of Single Women in Ministry.
I am available for writing assignments and speaking engagements and my favorite, storytelling.
My current writing clips include:
