I am the Gnome Documentation Team Fearless Leader, the maintainer of Yelp and gnome-doc-utils, the coordinator of gnome-user-docs and gnome-devel-docs, the author of the Gnome Platform Overview, the mysterious hand behind Mallard, the creator of Pulse, and the steward of any unmaintained user documentation in Gnome.
I work as a consultant software engineer with Collabora, an amazing company that is helping bring open source to new places. I'm currently working on the Gnome-based application framework that powers the Nokia N900.
Previously, I worked as the Document Production Supervisor at Wolfram Research, building the tools that make the documentation work. My tools are behind the documentation that ships with Mathematica, as well as such high-profile web sites as the Mathematica Documentation Center and MathWorld.
I have over eight years of industry and community experience in creating, testing, tracking, and building documentation.
