I started Already Heard under name of Play Crack The Sky Music in September 2011. My role for the site consists of writing news articles, features, reviews, and interviews, as well corresponding with numerous industry figures to create original content for the site.
The site is currently being re-developed and will be launching in Spring 2012.

Through my time at The Barcode Warehouse, I have acquired a invaluable understanding of various devices from manufacturers such as Intermec, Motorola, Honeywell, Toshiba, Zebra and more. In addition I have regularly used numerous software packages such as SOTI, Service Manager and Remote Desktop.
My current role consists repairing and despatching numerous devices on a daily basis. This role includes tasks such as identifying errors with PDA devices and assisting with the repairing procedure. I also contribute to preparing and exporting repaired devices to customers from several contracts; Parcel Force, Royal Mail, TNT, NSL, and Hermes.
In a previous role, I provided technical support for various printers, scanners and PDAs, and had valuable knowledge of products from Zebra, Toshiba, Motorola, Honeywell and more.
In addition I supported the Hermes Courier Technical Support helpdesk; providing support to Intermec CN3 devices.
I have also supported the Parcel Force Tracking Point contract telephone helpdesk support by using Service Manager. To perform this role I was required to have a good knowledge of Motorola/Symbol WT4000 devices and Motorola/Symbol RS409 Ring Scanners. This role involved regular verbal and written communication with Parcel Force's various Depots, and giving effective support and resolutions to these depots.

Throughout my time at University I developed a number of skills. I was involved in a number of group presentations, some of which I organised and took main responsibility for. I also often took part in class discussions. I worked independently, as I had to research a variety of topics unassisted. This also incorporates my organisational skills as I had to organise my time with researching, coursework and extra curricular activities on many occasions. My computer skills were also increased, as I extensively used Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Activities and Societies: I was also a member of the University’s Rugby League team and I was involved in assisting and organising Charity fund raising events for Alzheimer’s. This consisted of working as a team and I also used computer software to advertise these events by using programs such as Microsoft Paint and Microsoft PowerPoint.
