Life Sciences Medical Marketing Strategist Skilled At Bridging Scientific Data With Commercial Objectives
Greater Atlanta Area
I am a senior director and professional problem solver in the life sciences industry whose success is attributable to strong leadership, project management, resource identification, and talent development skills. My achievements stem from a strategic medical marketing vision that integrates scientific and clinical perspectives into commercial objectives. This "big picture" approach ensures that healthcare professionals receive timely and relevant information through sound educational initiatives designed to drive enhanced patient care while contributing to product and corporate success.
My industry tenure spans 19 years and includes diverse roles. Since 2000, I have successfully developed and directed Medical Science Liaison teams for organizations both large and small. I have established program operations and developed business plans, collaborations, and advocacy development initiatives that have contributed to corporate milestones. My therapeutic experience spans multiple areas including CNS disorders, infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, urology, and oncology. I have been affiliated with companies using diverse treatment approaches ranging from immunotherapies to those developed through pharmacogenetic/pharmacogenomic targeting (personalized medicine). During this time, a key passion has been mentoring highly-motivated yet clinically focused healthcare professionals (MDs, PharmDs, and PhDs) in the art of relationship marketing, preparing them to engage in meaningful scientific exchanges with thought leaders and drivers of progressive treatment paradigms.
In addition to my achievements in Medical Affairs, I draw from direct experience in sales, training, sales management, and marketing roles. I have pounded the pavement, developed Key Opinion Leader relationships, managed budgets, and created tactics to drive productivity and revenue.
I hold two degrees from the University of Georgia – GO DAWGS!!!
