I firmly believe that "sourcing" is a specialized and integrated part within recruitment. Searching and attracting candidates is a process, though based on scientific protocols like boolean searches - basically is a Art, full of creativity and knows no boundaries. Strengthening, enhancing and updating this process is a integral part which requires focus and continuous improvement. It is also a strategic aspect which differentiates an ordinary recruitment function to a stand-alone "Delivery Excellence" process.

I would like to excel myself within this arena by always updating and educating with new tools/techniques. Also, sourcing can create a "Central Shared Service" platform for global companies where it can be done virtually to deliver cost and time advantage. It can create a partnership with existing recruitment functions to establish world class and result-oriented recruiting models.

We always say that searching candidates on job boards is like fishing in a small pond; however finding passive candidates is like fishing in a sea - full of candidates. You need to have right tools with right information and with right brains!!!
