In addition to my work as a librarian, I am a published writer and author, focusing on intercultural themes. I have published more than 95 articles dealing with work in multicultural library environments, reviews of ethnic restaurants, art criticism in the national magazine Art & Antiques, and business articles including an article in Commerce in France. I wrote a screenplay to keep life interesting. I am working on a book about France.

Serve on Book Club to Go, newsletter, volunteer, and art committees.

Wrote restaurant reviews for the Monterey County Weekly and art criticism for Art & Antiques. Wrote the Global Librarian column for the Bayline Journal of the Special Libraries Association for two years as well.
