Roberto has 20 years management and design experience in Semiconductors, Wireless and Telecom.
During his industrial experience, he has managed the design of several cell-phones and machine-to-machine (M2M) modems IP and modules PCB with advanced connectivity features, he designed and manage as well with his groups a large number of IP's, chips, and products in Semiconductors - medical, wireless-wireline codecs-modems, PCS, 2G-3G PMR Tetrapol-Tetra, GSM-GPRS-EDGE, WCDMA, Bluetooth, GPS - currently in volume production and having relevant commercial success.
He has been the promoter and Project Manager of very large R&D European Programs. He has several international patents and also extensively published on journals and congress proceedings.
Roberto holds with honours a BS from Enrico Fermi School, and a MS in Microelectronics Engineering from Politecnico, Bari, Italy, with a thesis on RF circuit design and phase modulation with LiNbO3 electro-optic modulators, for optical fibers coherent communications.
