After serving as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of UCLA Medical Center, Robert founded T2 Technology Group, LLC, which specializes in healthcare information technology planning, enterprise IT project management, and IT operations assessment-remediation.
Since it’s founding in May 2006, T2 has been able to quickly establish the value of their capabilities and services with major healthcare organizations. T2 has been involved in providing the IT services component for the Transition Planning of several major new hospitals within the United States including the University of Kentucky 1.1 million square foot UK Chandler Medical Center replacement project, the 500,000 square foot Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles New Hospital Building project, and the 275,000 square foot Saint John’s Health Center Howard Keck Diagnostic and Treatment Center. T2 has also provided IS operations assessment and transformation services for Century City Doctor’s Hospital and Saint John’s Health Center in Southern California.
Prior to T2, Robert steadily rose over the period of an 18 year career to become Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the UCLA Medical Enterprise. In this position, he was responsible for the development and implementation of next generation IT architectures for a $1 billion operation encompassing three major medical centers, 30 satellite clinics, the UCLA School of Medicine, and over 1,000 physicians. In this role, Robert oversaw the planning, oversight, and management of the implementation and integration of the IT infrastructure and services for the 1 million square foot UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center and the 315,000 square foot UCLA Santa Monica-Orthopedic Hospital replacement project.

T2 has been engaged to support the transformation of their newly acquired Tenet Hospitals to a leading Academic Medical Center and a strategic asset of the USC Health Sciences campus. Services include the assessment of the current state of their IS environment, development of an IS strategy and architecture to support their strategic objectives, and support of the development and implementation of their tactical IT plan.
