Rob currently lives in Pocatello, Idaho with his family where he manages the City of Pocatello's web services and is an adjunct faculty member in the Communication Studies and Political Science departments at Idaho State University. Prior to relocating to Idaho, Rob managed and developed the Center for Information Technology and Society at the University of California in Santa Barbara, a world-class new media interdisciplinary research center. Rob has spent several years as an media strategy and production consultant developing Internet outreach and mobilization plans for political candidates and issue-oriented campaigns across the country. Rob has advised candidates running for both federal and state office, including sitting U.S. Senator, Barbara Boxer and his hometown Representative Congressman Adam Schiff. In 2000 Rob served as a member of the Democratic National Convention host committee in Los Angeles. Rob has a Masters degree in Communication from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelors degree from UC San Diego in Political Science and Visual Arts.
