I have enjoyed a 30-year career focused on assisting learning and organizational systems in reaching for the goal of performance excellence. I co-directed a National Science Foundation grant taught in K-12 public schools, facilitated courses in higher education and held administrative positions in educational environments. Currently, I am a member of the Global Council and the Ed.D. Academic Council at the University of Phoenix. I also serve as the Area Chair for the Ed.D. program. I have co-authored articles and facilitated colloguiums in venues such as the Technology, College and Community Worldwide Online Conference and the Journal of Authentic Learning.
I am a National Curriculum and Training Institute certified facilitator of Real Colors, based on the research of Myers-Briggs and Keirsey-Bates. Real Colors is a tool to assist individuals in identifying their own temperament and in identifying the temperament of those they interact with in their personal and professional lives. Effective interaction can be greatly increased when individuals understand learning, teaching, and communication styles and how those styles influence thinking and problem solving.
I am an active participant in Inquiry Institute Q-Storming Facilitator Program focused on developing collaborative thinking skills among individuals and within organizations to generate new questions for innovative thinking and extraordinary results.
Serve on the Board of Directors of Friends 4 the Future which is dedicated to financially assisting low income families whose children are suffering from nonthreatening diseases.
