President & CEO at SOL, Inc (Solar Outdoor Lighting)

Smart, "out of the box" thinker, with rare ability for both strategic thinking PLUS tactical implementation when appropriate. Proven history as rainmaker for business process improvement and recognizing new market opportunities to grow existing businesses, especially those that might be experiencing slow/no growth. Strongest asset is the ability to see how to "connect the dots" and recognize hidden business and sales opportunities, create a gameplan and subsequently execute - and in the process not just grow but transform the business to create long-term sustainable growth.
Prior to my currently position I had overall responsibility for Lutron's Commercial Systems Business Unit (previously I had conceptualized, created and then developed the Residential Systems Business Unit). This included but was not limited to business unit P&L, worldwide sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing/operations, and HR responsibilites. The primary products/solutions that we offered were architectural lighting control systems, energy management controls, high frequency electronic dimming ballasts, and high frequency dimmable LED drivers.
I'm enjoying my new role leading some great people and watching them grow, and would be interested in any BOD opportunities, networking to mutually grow our companies, lead-sharing, sharing of sales forces, and anything else that makes sense.
